What to Expect:

Get ready for a jolly good time! Motivated in Motion and Skyline Run Coaching are partnering to bring you a fun-filled community running event this December. We are excited to gather, celebrate, and run together!

This holiday-themed relay will take place on Sunday, December 3, 2023 at 11:00 AM in the heart of YYC at Riley Park. 

To share the holiday spirit we are organizing a winter clothing drive to help support those that face challenges during the cold months. Please drop off your new or gently used and laundered winter gear which will be donated to The Mustard Seed. Additionally, all proceeds from this event will be donated to The Mustard Seed.

Team Relays: 

Put on your antlers, tie those jingle bells, and get ready to dash through the snow in the 4 person 400m relay event. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just looking for a good time, this event is open to all ages and experience levels.

Prizes: Exciting prizes are up for grabs! Winners of the relay races and the costume contest will be rewarded.

Group Warm-Up: Let's get the energy flowing with a group warm-up before we hit the track.

Who's Welcome: 

This event is for EVERYONE! Whether you're a beginner, a walker, or an experienced runner, you're invited to join in the holiday fun. It's family-friendly, pet-friendly, and kid-friendly. Bring your friends, family, and even your furry companions. The more, the merrier!

We will even be hosting a Santa Sprint for the kiddos so be sure to bring the whole family. 

What to bring: 

• Please dress for the winter conditions but don't be afraid to let your holiday cheer shine! Wear your most festive holiday attire.

• Snow-safe running footwear. We can't ensure that the pathways will be clear, so consider bringing trail shoes, traction devices/spikes.
